Its product ZYTIGA was developed by Janssen-Cilag International NV(a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson). In 2015, Abiraterone entered the Chinese market. As of 2020, in addition to Janssen-Cilag International NV, the main manufacturers of Abiraterone in China are Chengdu Suncadia Medicine Co., Ltd., Ltd., Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Shanxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
