Description
Global and China Graft Polyols Market
By Product (Polyether And Polyester); By Application (Rigid Foam, Flexible Foam, Coatings, Adhesives & Sealants, Elastomers and others) and Region –Analysis of Market Size, Share and Trends for 2014 – 2019 and Forecasts to 2030.
Product Overview
Graft polyols is a non-reactive polymer polyol, containing 20% solid material with 3500 average base polyol molecular weight used in the manufacture of rigid and flexible slab stock foam. Graft polyols also called filled polyols or polymer polyols contain finely dispersed styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylonitrile, or polyurea polymer solids that are chemically grafted to a high molecular weight polyether backbone.
They are used to improve the load-bearing properties of high-resilience low-density foam and to add hardness to microcellular foams and cast elastomers.
Market Highlights
Global and China Graft Polyols Market size was registered at USD XX billion in 2019, and is estimated to reach USD XX billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2020 to 2030.
Growing demand from various end-use industries such as automotive, clothing, construction, packaging, electrical and electronics for PU-based foams and coatings , adhesives, sealants, and elastomers is expected to fuel industry growth over the forecast period.
Growing construction and adaptation of automotive facilities among the population is on a different level due to increasing economy and consumer demand for luxury living, and is also expected to fuel the growth of the graft polyols industry.
Global and China Graft Polyols Market: Segments
Global and China Graft Polyols Market is segmented on the basis of product, application and region.
By Product (in %), Global and China Graft Polyols Market, 2019
The product segment is anticipated to register XX% of the market share during the forecasted period.
By product the market can be segmented into polyether and polyester. Globally, polyether polyols held the largest market share, and its dominance is expected to continue over the forecast period.
Polyether polyols have rebound properties, wear and tear resistance and hydrolytic stability, due to which rigid polyurethane foams are manufactured. Specific end-use industries such as shipping, manufacturing, furniture, and packaging use these. In polyurethane, urethane, and polyisocyanurate applications, polyether and polyester polyols are also used.
